Enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the imposing lakes around Hacienda Tres Lagos during horse riding or trekking that reaches 750 meters of altitude.

We will start from the hacienda where we will be able to appreciate in its first meters of walking/horse riding the Patagonian steppe, vegetation that is characterized by small shrubs (matabarrosa, male neneo, and wild fruits such as chaura, murtilla, calafate, devil's strawberry, among others). From the beginning of the trail, we can enjoy its impressive panoramic views. We will continue until we enter the Andean Forest, another type of vegetation that is very present in Chilean Patagonia, where species of nothofagus (lenga, coigue, ñire) stand out. It is worth mentioning that the area we will visit has zero soil erosion. It is a place where we have reforested and maintained araucaria plantations.

We will follow the path until we leave the forest to start walking through the moraines, finding species of trees lower than usual due to the strong winds. We will ascend to the top of the mountain, where we will find a magnificent view of the 4 lakes: General Carrera, Negro, Plomo, and Bertrand Lake. To the west, we will be able to observe part of the northern ice fields with the Contreras Mountain range while enjoying an exquisite box lunch with one of the best postcards that Patagonia will give us. At the beginning of the descent, we will have in front of us a wonderful view of Bertrand and Plomo Lake, to culminate the excursion at our hotel.
